SAVE THE DATE! Tuesday, March 22 @ 11am – 2pm
On Tuesday, March 22, 2016, Toyota Financial Services is assembling and delivering appreciation kits to elementary, middle and high school teachers at five school districts within the Los Angeles area as part of its commitment to education.
Last year, the company assembled and delivered 1,000 kits to teachers at 31 elementary schools in Hawthorne, Lawndale, Los Angeles Unified, and Torrance school districts. This year, team members are proudly doubling efforts to thank over 2,000 teachers at 56 schools in Centinela Valley Union, Hawthorne, Lawndale, Los Angeles Unified, and Torrance school districts with an additional 5,500 more kits distributed nationwide.
Each kit contains a reusable tote bag, a reusable water bottle, a first aid kit, a box of tissues, cleaning wipes, glue sticks, Post-it notes, pens, pencils, Sharpies, highlighters, and a thank-you card handwritten to the recipient teacher by a team member.
During the hours of 11am to 2pm, two TFS team members will arrive at each school’s main office to drop off teacher appreciation kits (quantity will vary based on school-reported numbers of teachers on site). Please reconfirm the name, phone and email address of the person who will be available to accept the kits by contacting Edgar Varela at firstname.lastname@example.org (213) 446-2055 or Melissa Richardson Banks at email@example.com (213) 446-3467.
