On December 15, Toyota Financial Services (TFS) Phoenix mentors gathered to spread holiday cheer with students of all ages at the Boys & Girls Club in nearby Guadalupe. The event kicked off with students hamming it up in the photo booth – those students love taking pictures! After the TFS team members and students snapped some unforgettable moments, the students placed the pictures into festive frames they created during the party.
The fun didn’t stop there – students got a chance to rotate between activity stations building gingerbread houses and making holiday crafts. After all that work, it was time for a festive holiday feast. Team Members got the chance to serve and enjoy dinner with the students, enjoying lots of laughs during the delicious meal. After dinner, the activities resumed with game stations where students and team members continued to build positive bonds.
When the evening was winding down and parents started to pick up the students, the common phrase heard was “But I don’t want to go home yet!”, showing how much the students were enjoying themselves and appreciating the time together with the TFS mentors.
TFS team members are gratified by their corporate culture that places emphasis on improving the communities. Angie Allen, TFS Customer Service Team Leader, stated “Our community involvement makes TFS a great place to work. I am proud to represent Toyota.”
