Financial Inclusion Initiative

As a financial institution, we at Toyota Financial Services understand firsthand the importance of making sound financial decisions and the value of having good credit. We believe that companies should take a stand and be active in helping to provide support and resources for pressing social issues like the need for financial education – but, we certainly can’t do it alone. In collaboration with great partners like Girl Scouts of the USA, Junior Achievement USA, AFSA Education Foundation, and Jump$tart, we are committed to sharing our financial expertise, our philanthropic donations and our volunteer efforts in ways that benefit people, the community, and our planet.

At TFS, we live and breathe financial fundamentals every day in our jobs. Couple that with our commitment to improving communities where we live and work and we believe that makes us uniquely qualified to put our expertise to work.

Most kids today leave home without the skills to budget, balance a checkbook or calculate interest; leaving them unprepared to transition successfully into adulthood. That’s why during April as Financial Empowerment Month, our employees commit to bringing financial basics to students across the nation.

In 2018, over 200 TFS Team Members participated in events across the country. They served 728 students through Junior Achievement, Girl Scouts of the USA, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and other non-profit partners.
