On June 15th, Toyota Financial Services (TFS) was thrilled to be honored by the Financial Services Roundtable (FSR) as a Corporate Social Responsibility Award recipient for the second consecutive year. On hand to accept the award from Congresswoman Dina Titus (D- NV), were TFS team members, Mark Simmons, Ray Specht, Carolyn Huber, Suzanne Valascho and Damion Tucker.
FSR’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program promotes the positive impact FSR member companies make in their local communities, nationwide, and worldwide by investing in social business opportunities and supporting the work of non-profit and other organizations. FSR member companies gave back in a big way in 2015, donating more than $1.1 billion and volunteering close to 8 million hours.
TFS ranked in the top 25% of FSR member companies for its philanthropic efforts. What sets TFS apart are the contributions from its team members who utilize their “know-how” to create upward mobility for their local communities.
“These companies are shining examples of the good work the financial services industry is doing to serve our communities,” said FSR’s Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility, Judy Chapa.
