Toyota Financial Services’ (TFS) commitment to improving the lives of young people resonates throughout the entire organization, as demonstrated by the company’s Dealer Sales & Service Office (DSSO) in Nashville, Tennessee, where associates recently seized the opportunity to support Ronald McDonald House Charities of Nashville.

Thanks to the Nashville DSSO building management, Spectrum Emery, and TFS associates Connie Waller, Teresa Booker, Daphne Wilson, Teri White, Sarah Atkinson, Dawn Stuteville, Tammy Cone, and Dan Rosellini, Nashville DSSO mobilized and provided much needed food and household items to their local Ronald McDonald House.  Together, the team pooled their contributions, and, last month, presented the non-profit organization with an impressive donation of cleaning products, trash bags, paper towels and toilet paper, breakfast cereals, popcorn and other snacks, and aluminum foil.

The mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Nashville is to “keep families close” by providing essential resources and a “home away from home” for families of critically ill children receiving inpatient or outpatient medical care at Nashville area hospitals.

“It feels good to work for a company that so enthusiastically supports its associates’ charitable work, and actually encourages people to get out there and make a difference in their communities,” said Dan Rosellini, Dealer Services Operations Manager, Nashville DSSO.  “The work that Ronald McDonald House does for sick children and their families is so inspiring, and we are both thrilled and honored to have contributed to such an amazing cause.”

Programs run by Ronald McDonald House Charities, the 32-bedroom Ronald McDonald House, and the Ronald McDonald Family Room in Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, offer parents and family members a place to relax, refresh, and experience the comforts of home while staying close to their sick child. The Ronald McDonald House has been open since July 1991, and has provided for more than 11,800 families.
