Central Customer Service Center MLE Intern Alumni Shares Success

Tydell Jones came to the Customer Service Center in Iowa in the spring of 2014 as part of the Making Life Easier (MLE) Internship program. Two years after her internship she still maintains contact with her TFS mentor, Loyalty Strategy Manager, Amber Lewis. Tydell recently sent Amber a note updating her on the path she has taken since her experience with TFS.

Hi Amber! I have great things to share with you!
My career search is over! After graduation, I will begin my career at Amazon as a full-time Operations Manager.  I will officially begin this new journey in June. As an Operations Manager, I will be responsible for functional processes of inbound operations and outbound operations within a fulfillment center.  Additionally, I will be expected to introduce more efficient ideas, gather data and execute continuous process improvement.

During Spring Break I had the pleasure of traveling to Shanghai, China with other UNI student leaders to visit Shanghai Dianji University. Every year, UNI student leaders visit Dianji’s campus to strengthen the relationship between UNI & Dianji. This was my first time visiting China and it was an AMAZING experience! I visited reputable firms and networked with many professionals, ate at culture-rich restaurants, participated in many traditional activities, and learned a hint of Mandarin.

Graduation is coming up soon but and I’m going to cherish every moment of my undergraduate journey until the very end.

Peace and Happiness to the TFS Team and thank you for everything!
