It Ain’t Easy Being Santa in Cedar Rapids, Iowa

CSCC MLE HolidaysBeing Santa has its rewards, but being the children’s ultimate legend is not an easy task.  Sure, I work out all year doing arm curls and squats to be ready for the physical demands but the questions kids ask can be tough to answer.  Can you come up with hundreds of unique answers to the question “What am I thinking now?”

Rick Poell (Regional Loss Control Manager-Central) and Amy Jo Rathje (Loss Control Operations Manager) from Toyota Financial Services Customer Service Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa disguised as Santa and Mrs. Claus, along with their elves from the Diplomas to Degrees team worked tirelessly to ensure all the kids from the local Boys & Girls Club received at least one gift from their Christmas list.  Although the joy the kids experienced by receiving a gift was priceless, the consensus feeling amongst the Cedar Rapids mentors was that the gift of giving was the greatest gift of all.
