Today, Toyota Financial Services (TFS) and Lexus Financial Services (LFS) proudly celebrated #GivingTuesday, an annual day of giving uniting the globe to make a difference in the world before the busy holiday season. Last year, more than 45,000 organizations in 71 countries came together to celebrate #GivingTuesday.
This year, we invited our customers to be a part of the movement by encouraging them to choose a nonprofit to receive $5 from TFS/LFS with a maximum total donation of $150,000 across the following four organizations:
- American Red Cross
- Boys & Girls Clubs of America
- Girl Scouts of the USA
- Making Life Easier Scholarship Program
With hundreds of thousands of customers clicking to vote at the same time, our goal was achieved within minutes. (While our system was temporarily disabled, please know that all votes were received!). Thank you to all of our customers who participated and helped make #GivingTuesday a success for our communities!
