On September 27, Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) is hosting its 69th National Youth of the Year (YOY) event at the National Building Museum in Washington D.C.  Since 1947, YOY has been BGCA’s premier recognition program, celebrating the extraordinary achievements of Club teens. Club members who earn the YOY title embody the values of leadership, service, academic excellence, and healthy lifestyles. They exemplify the critical impact that Boys & Girls Clubs have on the lives of young people.

As the Signature Sponsor of the YOY program, Toyota is committed to collaborating, investing and elevating BGCA’s industry-leading youth leadership platform. In addition, Toyota has awarded a brand new Corolla to the National YOY winner since 2010, along with financial support to offset the costs of vehicle ownership.

This year TFS Vice President & Chief Risk Officer Scott Cooke will serve as one of the YOY competition judges and TFS President and CEO Mike Groff will speak on Toyota’s behalf. It is going to be an extraordinary evening, so be on the lookout for the 2016-2017 National Youth of the Year announcement next week!
